Kazuhiko ‘Almacan’ Nakamura´s cyberpunk art

Today I am proud to announce a new artist showing amazing artworks in our gallery. Kazuhiko Nakamura aka. ‘Almacan‘, born in Hyogo, Japan in 1961, is inspired by surrealism and cyberpunk styles of art. He finds himself drawn to 19th century machine designs and armor among other things from that time period as motif. All of his images has been created with a portrait style while still containing a puzzle type quality. The favourite software of Kazuhiko Nakamura is Shade (a japanese 3D Software) and Photoshop (2D Software).

Kazuhiko Nakamura:

“My name is Kazuhiko Nakamura. I work as an environmental graphic designer in Tokyo while producing 3D art works in my free time. Since February last year, I have exhibited my works in 3D online galleries. This is the first time my work was selected as “CG Choice”. When I was young, I was strongly influenced by surrealism paintings and cyberpunk art, and have produced watercolor paintings, drawing, sculpture, and so on. At present I enjoy creating 3D worlds, which I assemble like a puzzle by gathering archaic pieces from my memory.”
