giger wasnt the first to "invent this style btw not to mention you look at his early art and you can derive him from many popular artists of his day thats like calling eric clapton a rip off artist because he sings the blues! giger fans are rabid and need to expand their horizons

Well, it surely has a lot of Giger style, which doesn't mean that an artist is forbidden to do things he appreciates - he just should mention his inspiration otherwise it looks dork.

I would have to say that there are too many differences in style and technique. I would be able to tell the difference between this and gigers work easily. I think the only reason it has such a giger feel to it is the sexual nature of the painting.

It's a LOT giger style! so much, in fact, that one has to wonder why any self-respecting artist would waste his time creating such an obviously derivative work. If I was NOT Giger's agent, I would still feel exactly the same. It makes no sense to do this. It invites comparison strictly on Giger's terms and, guess what, it comes up short.
